The Youth Mental Health Case Manager provides evidence-based services to children and their families in maintaining or improving their ability to function in the community and work toward their recovery goals. This position assists youth with mental illness and/or behavioral issue and their families access medical, social, educational and other appropriate services. This position encourages youth to live their best lives through support, resources, skills training, parent training, safety planning, crisis intervention, and many other services. The Youth Mental Health Case Manager works in collaboration with other agencies within the community and state to link youth and their families to other needed services. This position provides monitoring, assessment, service planning and coordination, and skills training and development.
The Early Intervention Specialist (EIS) provides comprehensive assessments, interventions and support for children birth to 3 years old with developmental delays or disabilities. This position provides in-home/community-based specialized skills training services as prescribed on the child/family's Individualized Family Service Plan (ISFP) and accurately documents the services concurrently. This position educates the families and trains them on techniques on how to have their child reach a certain developmental goal while incorporating other areas of development. The EIS works closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families served.
The Medical Billing Clerk reconciles payments received from third party payers with the Accounting Deposit Log, assists staff to maximize third party billings, and processes and sends monthly statements to clients. This position investigates and resolves differences revealed from payment reconciliation and identifies problems within the third party billing for accurate coding, etc.
The Nurse coordinates medical and non-medical aspects of a patient's treatment including patient education. This position performs a variety of patient care activities with individuals with mental illness including administration of intra-muscular injections, phlebotomy, obtaining and recording vital signs, providing medication education, symptom management and assisting in dispensing sample and Patient Assistance Program (PAP) medication.
The Mental Health Case Manager provides case management for individuals with severe mental illness, coordinating services and advocating for the patient to improve quality of life. This position teaches skills to the patient to help them cope with their mental illness.

This position provides emergency services to individuals in the community by defining presenting complaints, obtaining relevant medical history, assessing needed interventions, and initiating appropriate crisis intervention services, resolving crisis situations, filing emergency detention orders, and facilitating entrance into Crisis respite facilities when appropriate. The Crisis Response Specialist is responsible for ensuring persons in crisis are treated in the least restrictive and most appropriate environment. This position develops and maintains positive working relationships with law enforcement, hospital personnel and the judiciary. The Crisis Response Specialist facilitates entry of crisis clients into need brief services and/or referral to ongoing services as well as handles crises that walk into the Mental Health Clinics.

This position provides emergency services to individuals by defining presenting complaints, obtaining relevant medical history, assessing needed interventions, and initiating appropriate crisis intervention services, resolving crisis situations, filing emergency detention orders, and facilitating entrance into Crisis respite facilities when appropriate. The Crisis Response Hospital Liaison is responsible for ensuring persons in crisis are treated in the least restrictive and most appropriate environment. This position develops and maintains positive working relationships with hospital personnel. The Crisis Response Hospital Liaison facilitates entry of crisis clients into need brief services and/or referral to ongoing services. This position involves assisting with hospital operations outside of core crisis intervention services and offices at the PBBHC.
The Community Health Worker (CHW)/Promotora will work directly with individuals who reside in Rural Border communities who are at risk or use substances and help facilitate increased linkage and retention in substance use, mental health, and medical services for Texas residents. This position will be required to obtain Texas Department of State Health Services CHW certification within 6 months from hire date.
The Clinic Nurse assists with meeting the needs of complex medical patients, including assessment, education, referrals, and follow-up care for individuals with HIV in the Basin Assistance Services (BAS) program. This position provides nursing care including but not limited to administering medications, immunization and collecting specimen including blood and urine and treatments in compliance with a medical provider's orders, BAS policies, and State of Texas guidelines. The Clinic Nurse interprets information obtained from patient and others, including the health care team, and documents all clinical care in the patient's electronic medical records accordingly. This position provides general care coordination including but not limited to patient triage, phone call-backs, prescription refills, lab ordering and interpretation, prior authorization of medication when required.
The MST Therapist is responsible for providing evidence-based intensive family and community-based treatment for at-risk youth with intensive needs and their families. MST intervention is a short-term (three to five months), intensive, and community-based clinical intervention aimed at promoting pro-social behavior and interrupting the child's involvement with the juvenile justice system. MST is non-traditional as services are delivered in the child's community and home instead of in an office setting. MST addresses the core causes of delinquent and antisocial conduct by identifying key drivers of the behaviors through an ecological assessment of the child.
The Clinical Case Manager enrolls and facilitates medical care for eligible newly diagnosed HIV individuals in the Basin Assistance Services service area within 72 hours of diagnosis. The position fulfills the case management duties of the Rapid StART clinic with the goal of having available access to care that aligns with education provided to clients addressing importance of medical adherence and retention in care, ultimately leading to a lower community viral load and decrease the amount of new diagnosis.
The Care Coordinator works closely with the behavioral health patient, doctor and other clinic staff to ensure the patient has the resources and tools necessary to improve their mental health by providing access to high quality physical and behavioral healthcare in order to help reach wellness and recovery of the whole person. The Care Coordinator works closely with other team members to perform screenings, assessments and intake documentation in order to successfully enroll patients into services. This position is also responsible for closing the gap in treatment by linking patients to access multiple types of services within the community and provide follow up to ensure the patient receives services with those providers to achieve their recovery goals.

The Trainer/Early Intervention Specialist (EIS) trains all new Early Intervention Specialists and ECI Service Coordinators, provides on-going training to all EIS staff and provides training as needed to contract therapists. This position instructs and guides all new employees through the EIS credentialing process mandated by the State of Texas. The Trainer/EIS enters the EIS registry data for employee credentialling/re-certification completion dates.
The Criminal Justice Case Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of the Texas Correctional Office for Offenders with Medical and Mental Impairments (TCOOMMI) program. This position coordinates with and maintain positive relationships with local law enforcement, the judiciary, and family members or offenders with serious mental illness to ensure the implementation of successful Jail Diversion program. The Criminal Justice Case Manager provides case management to clients in the TCOOMMI program, including coordination of services and monitoring of mental health treatment needs of individuals who are on probation or parole.

These positions assist with monitoring, daily living activities (such as bathing, eating and toileting), behavior supports, personal care, and ensuring the physical and emotional needs of the individuals are met. DSPs provide residential, Individualized Skills and Socialization (ISS), day activity, crisis and community supports in compliance with Contract standards. This position provides transportation for individuals to a variety of locations and may be required to work rotating schedules and flexible hours.

The Residential Monitor observes and interacts with clients in an inpatient substance use disorder treatment facility. This position is required to be awake and alert at all times during the hours of scheduled duties, is responsible for the clients' safety and well-being and ensures clients adhere to the weekly group schedule. This is a 24/7 facility with day, evening and night shifts available.
